There’s no doubt about it, this year has been tough on all of us. With everything that’s happened during the pandemic, we feel so lucky to still be here, creating the fierce styles that you know and love. In an attempt to end 2020 on a positive note, we wanted to share some of the things we’re grateful for (this year, more than ever)…
Our wonderful customers
First of all, we’re so grateful to our Leopards for the support we’ve received this year. Every order, like and share has truly meant the world. We also appreciate all of the feedback you’ve given us; we love to hear from you and it genuinely helps us to become better. So, thank you for being the best.
Being a digital business
With the nature of this year, we’ve felt so fortunate that Dancing Leopard is a digital business. Our team is spread out across the world so we’re used to using Google hangouts and other online programmes to stay connected. Here’s to technology!
Delivery and postal services
How would we have managed 2020 without our amazing delivery and postal services? They’ve worked tirelessly to not only deliver our parcels and essentials, but to keep businesses going, too. We’re so grateful to every single person who works in this field, including our own wonderful warehouse team. You are all amazing.
The best brand friends
We have the best brand friends who are always there to support us and cheer us on. In particular we’d like to thank the lovely and talented Lauren Baker (@laurenbakerart), as well as Bits & Peaches (@bits_n_peaches) and Avalana (avalana.design). We wish all of you a wild 2021!
Our positive and upbeat team
Of course we had to mention our team! Throughout this year, they’ve remained upbeat no matter what challenges they’ve been thrown. Thanks to our amazing photographers, marketeers, designers, warehouse team and buying and wholesale departments. Without you, none of this would be possible.
Our brilliant factory
We have a close relationship with our wonderful factory in India and we’re so grateful to them for creating our gorgeous new styles this year. We can’t wait to get back to Delhi to see the team and enjoy some delicious home-cooked Indian food.
DL’s stress-free culture
As a team, we always aim to keep stress levels low. While this year has definitely been testing, we’ve managed to work reactively; taking each day as it comes with a smile on our faces. We’re thankful for this mindset as a business and know it’ll continue into the new year.
Making it through COVID so far
Lastly, we’re so happy to still be here, doing what we love. The pandemic hasn’t been an easy time for businesses and we know how lucky we are. So one last time, thank you for everyone who’s made it possible. We see you and we appreciate you. And just like that, we’re on to 2021...
